이때, 변혜진은 사실 유현철이 이소라를 불러서 나간 밤,  쪽지를 썼었다고 고백했다. 표현을 하려고 우체통까지 넣었으나 이소라를 부른 모습에 다시 쪽지를 뺏었다는 것. 이를 솔직하게 다 말한 모습에유현철은 변혜진이 오해할까 상황을 설명했다. 이소라와 변혜진 모두 호감이 있어 알아보고 싶었다며 마음을 전했다. 그러면서 "혜진과 인연이 되려고 그런 걸까, 아쉬움은 좀 없어졌다"며 직진 마음을 보였다. 마지막에서야 1대1 데이트가 된 두 사람이었다. 

유현철은 "갑자기 이런 마음이 생겨, 데이트 정말 하고 싶었다"고 했고, 변혜진은 "내가 운동 얘기해서 그랬냐"고 물었다. 이에 유현철은 중요한 기준이 나이차이였다며  "나보다 다 어려서 위측해, 33세라고 해 깜짝 놀랐다, 7살 차이밖에 차이 안 나네"라며 웃음짓게 했다. 




변혜진은 "파워코스 때도 (오빠가) 잘 챙기더라"고 하자,유현철은 바로 입고있던 카디건을 깔아 바닷가 앞에 자리를 잡고 앉았다. 이어 변혜진이 "우리 사이 멀어보인다"고 하자 유현철은 "옆으로 와"라고 리드하더니 변혜진 옆으로 철썩 붙었다. 그러면서 유현철은 "나에겐 하루가 아닌 이렇게 1시간에 확신이 필요했다"며 
"어제까지 확신을 누구에게도 못 느껴 생각이 많아졌다"고 고백, 변혜진도 "시간은 없는데 문득 (데이트하고 싶다고) 말하고 싶었다"고 말했다.
