박서진은 2월 27일 오후 서울 마포구 한 카페에서 새 미니 앨범 '춘몽' 발매 기념 인터뷰를 진행했다.On the afternoon of February 27, Park Seo-jin conducted an interview at a cafe in Mapo-gu, Seoul to commemorate the release of her new mini-album "Spring Dream."
'봄에 꾸는 꿈'이라는 의미를 지닌 '춘몽'에는 전곡 인스트루멘탈(반주) 트랙까지 총 6곡이 수록됐다."Spring Dream," which means "dream in spring," contains a total of six songs, including the entire instrumental track. 타이틀곡 '지나야' 작곡과 편곡은 '정차르트' 정경천이 담당했다.Jung Kyung-cheon, the "Jungzart," was in charge of composing and arranging the title song "Jina Ya."
박서진은 "오랜만에 신곡을 내게 됐는데 원래는 생각이 없었다.Park Seo-jin said, "It's been a while since I released a new song, but I didn't have any thoughts 방송을 보고 정경천 선생님이 전화해 '너에게 곡을 주고 싶다'고 말씀하셔서 신곡을 제작하게 됐다.After watching the broadcast, teacher Jeong Kyung-cheon called and said, "I want to give you a song," so I produced a new song. 일단 선생님이 작곡한 노래를 '미스터트롯2'에서 부르는 걸 보고 감명 깊게 들었다고 하더라.First of all, he said he was impressed to see the teacher sing the song he composed in "Mr. Trot 2." 그런 비슷한 노래를 만들어 주고 싶다고 먼저 연락을 주셨다"고 말문을 열었다.He told me first that he wanted me to make such a similar song."
이어 "원래 곡을 한 번만 받기로 했는데 3곡을 준비하셨더라."I was supposed to get only one song, but they prepared three songs. 3곡 다 들어보니까 괜찮아 3곡 다 발매하게 됐다.After listening to all three songs, it's okay. I'm releasing all three songs. 디렉팅도 직접 해주셨다.He also directed it himself. '너 편한 대로 해라', '너 느낀 대로 해라', '너의 느낌을 최대한 살려서 해라'라는 말씀을 해주셨다.They said, "Do as you please," "Do as you feel," and "Make the most of your feelings." '지나야'라는 노래가 원래 있던 곡이긴 했는데 멜로디가 완전히 바뀌었다"고 덧붙였다.The song "Jina" was originally a song, but the melody has completely changed," he added.
정경천과의 공동 작업은 처음이다.This is the first time he has collaborated with Jeong Gyeong-cheon. 박서진은 작업 과정에 대해 "나만의 '지나야'는 일단 비음 섞인 목소리에 달콤하면서도 애절한, 떠나간 '지나'를 찾는 느낌의 곡으로 해석했다.Regarding the work process, Park Seo-jin interpreted "Jina's My Own" as a song that feels like finding "Jina" who left, sweet and mournful with a nasal voice. 정경천 선생님과 처음 작업을 해봐서 작업 방식을 몰랐다.It was my first time working with Jeong Kyung-cheon, so I didn't know how to work. 3곡을 5번 부르게 하시더니 됐다고, 나오라고 하셨다.He made me sing three songs five times, and then he said, "That's enough. Come out." 처음에는 불렀는데 연습하는 거겠지 싶어 대충 불렀다.At first, I sang it, but I thought he was practicing, so I sang it roughly. 알고 보니까 녹음하는 거였다.It turned out to be recording. 그래서 제대로 부르고 5번으로 끝내고 나왔는데 '지나야'만 7번, 8번 녹음했다.So I sang it properly and finished with 5, but I recorded "Jina" seven or eight times. 결과물 들어 보니까 괜찮더라"고 회상했다.When I heard the result, it was pretty good."
'지나야' 가사는 '가황' 나훈아가 맡아 화제를 모았다.The lyrics of "Jina Ya" drew attention as Na Hoon-ah, a "vulcanized" took charge. 나훈아는 사랑의 끝이 이별이라면 이별의 끝은 다시 사랑일 수 있다는, 전 연인에 대한 마음을 솔직한 가사로 표현했다.Na Hoon-ah expressed her feelings for her ex in honest lyrics, saying that if the end of love is parting, the end of separation can be love again. 박서진 특유의 호소력 짙은 목소리가 곡에 대한 몰입도를 높인다.Park Seo-jin's unique appealing voice increases the level of immersion in the song.
박서진은 "나훈아 작사라는 이야기를 들었을 때 이름만 같은 분이겠거니 했는데 정말 나훈아 선생님이 작사를 하신 곡이더라.Park Seo-jin said, "When I heard that Na Hoon-ah wrote the lyrics, I thought it would be the same person with the same name, but Na Hoon-ah really wrote the lyrics. 나훈아 선생님이 다른 가수의 작사를 주신 경우가 거의 없는데 딱 두 개가 있다고 하더라.Na Hoon-ah rarely wrote lyrics for other singers, but she said there were only two. 유지나 선생님의 '미운 사내'와 정경천 선생님에게 준 '지나야' 두 곡이라고 하더라.It is said that it is two songs, Yu Ji-na's "The Ugly Man" and Jeong Gyeong-cheon's "Jinaya." 사실 나훈아 선생님을 뵙지는 못했다.In fact, I didn't see Na Hoon-ah. 아직 나훈아 선생님에게 따로 조언을 받거나 하지는 못했다.I haven't received any advice from Na Hoon-ah yet. 내가 부르게 됐다는 건 아실 거라 생각한다.I think you know that I'm going to sing it. 제작자가 허락을 해야만 곡을 부를 수 있기 때문에"라고 밝혔다.I can only sing songs with the producer's permission." 나훈아에게 전하고 싶은 말이 있냐는 질문에 박서진은 "선생님 너무 영광이고 뵙고 싶고 존경한다"고 답했다.When asked if there was anything I wanted to say to Na Hoon-ah, Park Seo-jin replied, "It's such an honor, I want to see you, and I respect you."
박서진은 2013년 첫 싱글 '꿈'으로 데뷔했다.Park Seo-jin debuted with her first single "Dream" in 2013. 그간 '세월이길 장사있나', '밀어밀어', '꽃이 핍니다', '흥해라', '아버지의 바다(삼천포 아리랑)' 등을 발매하며 트로트 팬들의 열렬한 응원을 받았다.Until now, he has received enthusiastic support from trot fans by releasing "Do you have a business that will go on for years?" 박서진은 신곡 발매를 앞두고 1월 16일 팬클럽 닻별과 함께 연세세브란스병원에 희귀·난치성 질환자들을 돕기 위한 치료비와 생계비 1,000만 원을 기부했다.Ahead of the release of her new song, Park Seo-jin donated 10 million won in treatment and living expenses to Yonsei Severance Hospital along with her fan club Anchor Star on Jan. 16. 단발성이 아니라 2019년 사천시 인재육성장학재단에 1,000만 원을, 지난해 9월과 12월에는 각각 1,000만 원씩 기부했다.It donated 10 million won to the Sacheon Human Resources Development Foundation in 2019, and 10 million won each in September and December last year. 지난해에는 초등학생 때 급식비를 지원받은 삼천포성결교회에 성금을 기부해 '박서진 장학금'이라는 이름으로 어려운 환경의 학생들을 지원해 귀감이 됐다.Last year, he donated donations to the Samcheonpo Seonggyeol Church, which received school meal expenses when he was an elementary school student, to support students in a difficult environment under the name of "Park Seo-jin Scholarship." 올 1월 10일에는 자신의 모교 삼천포초등학교에 장학금과 발전기금 1,000만 원을 전달했다.On January 10 this year, he delivered a scholarship and a development fund of 10 million won to his alma mater Samcheonpo Elementary School.
꾸준한 기부 행보는 불우했던 과거와 연관돼 있다.The steady donation is related to the unfortunate past. 박서진은 "꾸준히 하는 이유는 다른 건 없고 내가 어렸을 때 가난하게 살다 보니까 많은 분들의 도움을 받았다.Park Seo-jin said, "There is no other reason for doing it steadily, and I was helped by many people because I lived in poverty when I was young. 그걸 감사하게 생각해서 나도 다음에 커서 받았던 걸 다시 베풀어야겠다는 생각이 들어 똑같이 베풀고 있다.I am grateful for that, and I am doing the same because I feel like I should give back what I received when I grow up. 내가 할 수 있는 한도 내에서 베풀고 있다.I'm doing as much as I can. 기부를 받은 분들도 똑같이 생각해서 다시 베풀어 주셨으면 좋겠다는 생각으로 계속하는 것 같다"고 말했다.I think the people who received the donation think the same way and continue to do it with the hope that they will give it to us again."
그는 "최근 아버지는 계속 약을 드셔야 하는 상태고 건강을 유지하려고 운동도 하신다.He said, "Recently, my father has to keep taking medicine and even works out to stay healthy. 엄마도 옛날보다는 항암 치료를 받고 하는 정도까지는 아니지만 한 달에 병원 가서 정기검진 받는 정도까지 좋아지셨다.My mother is not as good as before as getting chemotherapy, but she has improved to go to the hospital and get regular checkups a month. 경제적으로는 목표했던 바를 성취했다고 생각한다.Economically, I think I have achieved my goal. 옛날에는 집이 없어 계속 이사를 하고 쫓겨나고 집에서 물 새고 바퀴벌레 나오고 했다"고 밝혔다.In the past, I didn't have a house, so I kept moving out, got kicked out, leaked water from my house, and came out of my house with cockroaches."
이어 "집에 대한 한이 있어 돈 벌자마자 집을 드려야겠다고 생각해 3층 집을 지어드리고 배에 문제가 생겨 배도 사드리고 이번에는 부모님 가게를 준비하고 있다."I have a grudge against the house, so I thought I should give you a house as soon as I made money, so I built a three-story house, bought a ship, and this time I'm preparing my parents' store. 건어물가게를 준비 중이다"고 말했다.I'm preparing for a dry-water shop." '미스터트롯2' 출연 관련 부모님 반응에 대해서는 "방송 보고 부모님께서 잘했다고 말씀해 주셨다.Regarding my parents' reactions to the appearance of "Mr. Trot 2," I said, "My parents told me I did well after watching the broadcast. 어려운 도전인데 그래도 끝까지 잘했다고 이야기해 주셨다"고 덧붙였다."It was a difficult challenge, but they told me I did well until the end."
이번 앨범으로 어떤 대중의 평가를 듣고 싶냐는 물음에는 "'트로트 하면 역시 박서진이다'라는 말을 듣고 싶다.When asked what kind of public evaluation he would like to hear with this album, he said, "Park Seo-jin is the best trot artist." 이번 앨범은 지난 앨범과 다르게 풀 세션으로 만들고 믹싱, 마스터링도 트로트를 전문으로 하셨던 분들에게 맡겼다.Unlike the previous album, the album was made into a full session, and mixing and mastering were left to those who specialized in trot. 그동안 앨범에서 듣지 못했던 트로트의 색깔이 확실하게 나왔다고 생각한다.I think the color of trot that I haven't heard in the album has definitely come out.
박서진은 TV조선 '미스터트롯2-새로운 전설의 시작' 출연 전부터 탄탄한 팬층을 보유했다.Park Seo-jin had a solid fan base even before appearing on TV Chosun's "Mr. Trot 2-The Beginning of a New Legend." 그는 마니아 층이 두터운 비결에 대해 "그 이유를 아직까지 모르겠다."I still don't know why," he said of the secret of having a thick fan base. 왜 날 좋아해 주시고 팬층이 두꺼운지는 아직까지 모르겠는 부분 중 하나다.It's one of the things I still don't know why you like me and the fan base is thick. 이유를 들어 보면 그냥 스트레스가 풀린다고 하시더라.When I heard the reason, they said it was just relieving stress. 곡은 많은데 대표곡이 없다고 생각한다.There are many songs, but I don't think there are any representative songs. 그래도 아는 곡은 '밀어밀어'이지 않을까 생각한다.Still, I think the song I know is "Push." 트로트의 경우 안정된 팬층, 연령층에게 홍보할 수 있는 매체나 방송이 많이 없을뿐더러 가수가 앨범을 내면 대중에게 들려드리고 대중 분들의 귀에 들리기까지가 힘든 부분이 있는 것 같다"고 털어놨다.In the case of trot, there are not many media or broadcasts that can promote to stable fans and age groups, and it seems difficult for singers to release albums to the public and hear them."
이어 "이번 신곡이 대표곡이 됐으면 좋겠다."I hope this new song will become a representative song. 일단 내가 그동안 냈던 곡들 중 제일 쉽게 만들어진 곡인 것 같고 쉽게 따라 부를 수 있는 곡이라고 생각한다.First of all, I think it's the easiest song I've ever released and I think it's a song that I can easily sing along with. 대중 분들에게 다가가기 좋은 곡이라고 생각한다.I think it's a good song to approach the public. 3곡 중 하나라도 히트했으면 좋겠다.I hope one of the three songs will be a hit. 음원 차트 순위에 들어가는 것보다는 대중 분들이 내 노래를 들었을 때 따라 부를 수 있는 정도가 됐으면 좋겠다.Rather than entering the music chart rankings, I hope the public can sing along when they hear my song. 행사장에서 마이크를 넘겼을 때 따라 불러 주시는 정도가 되길 바란다"고 덧붙였다.I hope you can sing along when you hand over the microphone at the venue."
가수로서 꿈꾸는 목표 지점으로는 나훈아를 꼽았다.Na Hoon-a was chosen as her goal as a singer. 박서진은 "나훈아 선배님이 롤모델이다.Park Seo-jin said, "Na Hoon-ah is my role model. 가수로서 목표는 나훈아 선생님처럼 되는 거다.My goal as a singer is to become like Na Hoon-ah. 원래 꿈은 크게 가져야 중간이라도 간다는 말이 있어 목표는 나훈아 선생님이다.There is a saying that you have to have a big dream to go to the middle, so your goal is Na Hoon-ah. '트로트 하면 나훈아'인 것처럼 '트로트 하면 박서진'이 되면 좋겠다.I wish I could be Park Seo-jin when it comes to trot, just like Na Hoon-ah when it comes to trot. 닮고 싶은 점은 모든 노래를 본인만의 색깔로 부른다는 점이다.What I want to resemble is that I sing all songs in my own color. 콘서트를 보면 재치와 유머를 갖고 계시더라.When you watch a concert, you have wit and humor. 그런 점을 닮고 싶다.I want to resemble that. 무대를 장악하는 카리스마를 제일 많이 닮고 싶다"고 밝혔다.I want to resemble the charisma that dominates the stage the most."
