걸그룹 걸스데이 멤버 출신 배우 이혜리가 튀르키예 시리아 지진 피해 복구에 힘써달라며 5000만원을 기부했다.Actress Lee Hye-ri, a former member of girl group Girl's Day, donated 50 million won, asking for efforts to recover from the Turkiye Syrian earthquake.
유니세프한국위원회(사무총장 이기철)는 9일 "이혜리가 튀르키예 시리아 지진피해 어린이 긴급구호에 동참하며 5000만원을 기부했다"라고 밝혔다.UNICEF's Korea Committee (Secretary-General Lee Ki-chul) said on the 9th, "Lee Hye-ri donated 50 million won by participating in emergency relief for children affected by the Turkiye Syrian earthquake." 기금은 튀르키예·시리아 지진 피해 어린이들을 위한 영양, 식수, 보호 등의 긴급구호사업에 전액 사용될 예정이다.The fund will be fully used for emergency relief projects such as nutrition, drinking water and protection for children affected by earthquakes in Turkistan and Syria.
2019년 최연소로 유니세프한국위원회 고액후원자 모임인 아너스클럽에 가입한 배우 이혜리는 2019년 아시아 어린이 교육 지원 사업인 '스쿨스포아시아'(Schools for ASIA)에 1억 원, 2021년 여자 어린이 위생사업에 5000만원을 기부하는 등 지구촌 어린이를 꾸준히 지원해 왔다.Actress Lee Hye-ri, the youngest member of UNICEF's Korean Committee to join the Honors Club, has consistently supported children around the world, donating 100 million won to Schools for ASIA, an Asian children's education support project in 2019, and 50 million won to girls' hygiene projects in 2021.
이번 튀르키예·시리아 어린이들의 지진 피해 소식을 접하고 바로 유니세프한국위원회에 기부의 뜻을 밝히며 또 한 번 어린이를 위한 나눔을 실천했다.Upon hearing the news of the earthquake damage to children in Turkistan and Syria, he expressed his intention to donate to the UNICEF Korea Committee and practiced sharing for children once again.

유니세프는 튀르키예에 1951년부터, 시라아에 1970년부터 국가사무소를 두고 현지 어린이를 위한 지원 활동을 펼쳐 오고 있다.UNICEF has set up a national office in Turkiye since 1951 and in Shiraa since 1970 and has been supporting local children. 170명의 직원을 가진 유니세프 튀르키예 사무소와 217명의 직원을 가진 시리아 사무소는 2월 6일 재난 발생 직후부터 현장에서 구호활동을 펼치며 어린이를 지원하고 있다.The 170-member UNICEF Turkiye office and the 217-member Syria office have been supporting children by conducting relief operations at the scene since shortly after the disaster on 6 February.
