제73회 베를린 국제영화제가 2월 26일(이하 현지시간) 폐막하는 가운데, 시상식이 25일 진행됐다.With the 73rd Berlin International Film Festival closing on Feb. 26 (local time), the awards ceremony took place on the 25th.
홍상수 감독의 신작이자, 연인 김민희가 제작실장으로 참여한 영화 '물 안에서'가 인카운터 경쟁 부문에 공식 초청됐으나 수상은 불발됐다.Director Hong Sang-soo's new film, "Inside the Water," in which his lover Kim Min-hee participated as the production manager, was officially invited to the in-counter competition, but the award was failed.
앞서 홍상수 감독은 '도망친 여자', '인트로덕션', '소설가의 영화'에 이어 4년 연속 베를린 국제영화제에 초청돼 수상 기대를 높였다.Earlier, director Hong Sang-soo was invited to the Berlin International Film Festival for the fourth consecutive year following "The Woman Who Runs Away," "Introduction," and "The Novelist's Film," raising expectations for the award.
홍상수 감독 작품인 '밤의 해변에서 혼자'는 제67회 베를린 국제영화제 은곰상 여우주연상, '도망친 여자'는 제70회 은곰상 감독상, '인트로덕션'은 제71회 은곰상 각본상, '소설가의 영화'는 제72회 은곰상 심사위원 대상을 수상했지만, 이번 시상식에서는 트로피를 들어올리지 못하면서 연속 수상 기록이 깨졌다.Director Hong Sang-soo's "Alone at the Beach of the Night" won the best actress award at the 67th Berlin International Film Festival, "The Woman Who Run Away" won the 70th Silver Bear Award, "Introduction" won the 71st Silver Bear Award, and "Novelist's Film" won the 72nd Silver Bear Award.

한편, 경쟁부문 황금곰상은 프랑스 다큐멘터리 '온 디 애더먼트'(감독 니콜라 필리베르)가 받았다.Meanwhile, the Golden Bear Award in the competition category was won by the French documentary "On the Addition" (Director Nicola Filiber). 경쟁 부문에 오른 유일한 다큐멘터리 영화로, 정신질환자 보호 시설에 대한 이야기를 담았다.It is the only documentary film in the competition category and tells the story of a mental illness protection facility.
또한, 스티븐 스필버그가 공로상을 수상했다.Also, Steven Spielberg won the Achievement Award. 그는 수상 소감으로 "은퇴할 계획 없다"고 밝히기도 했다.He also said in his acceptance speech, "I have no plans to retire."
