▲ 오늘 많이 떨면서 촬영장에 왔어요.▲ I came to the set very nervous today. 항상 언니들과 함께 했었는데 오늘은 혼자 찍으니까 걱정도 되고 긴장이 많이 되더라고요.I was always with my sisters, but I was worried and nervous because I was filming alone today. 근데 분위기를 잘 이끌어주셔서 편안하게 찍을 수 있었고, 사진도 슬쩍 봤는데 예쁘게 나온 거 같아서 행복해요.However, I was able to take pictures comfortably because they led the atmosphere well, and I was happy because I thought it came out pretty.
Q 데뷔 7년 만에 솔로 데뷔를 했지요.Q: You made your solo debut seven years after your debut. 그룹 데뷔를 했을 때와는 기분이 또 달랐을 거 같은데, 어땠나요?You must have felt different from when you debuted as a group. How did you?
▲ 일단은 부담감이 컸어요.▲ First of all, I felt a lot of pressure. 아무래도 홀로서기니까.Because I'm alone. 이제 저만의 길을 걸어야 하는데, 잘 할 수 있을까 걱정이 많이 됐어요.Now I have to walk my own path, but I was very worried if I could do well. 어떤 길을 걸어야 하는지 막막했지만, 정답은 없는 거니까 제가 잘 할 수 있는 일을 하자고 마음을 다잡았어요.I was at a loss as to which path to take, but there was no answer, so I decided to do what I could do well. 그래도 책임감이 주어지니 허리띠 딱 졸라매고 힘내서 열심히 하게 되더라고요.Still, I was given a sense of responsibility, so I tightened my belt and worked hard.

▲ 당연히 설레고 기뻤죠.▲ Of course, I was excited and happy. 세상에 이진솔의 목소리를 제대로 들려줄 수 있는 기회가 온 거니까.This is an opportunity for me to properly let you hear Lee Jin-sol's voice. 뭐든 잘 하고 싶다는 욕심이 되게 큰 편이었어요.I had a big desire to do everything well. 그러다 보니 일에 있어서는 늘 부담감을 많이 느끼곤 했었죠.Therefore, I always felt a lot of pressure at work. 예전엔 그런 욕심이 더 컸는데, 너무 잘하려고 하면 사람이 급해지고 초조해지더라고요.In the past, I used to be more greedy, but if I try too hard, people get impatient and anxious. 지금은 많이 내려놨어요.I've put down a lot now. 그랬더니 즐기게 되더라고요.That's why I started to enjoy it' 이번 솔로 준비하면서 여러모로 많이 느끼고 성장하게 된 거 같아요.While preparing for this solo album, I felt a lot and grew up.
Q 첫 자작곡 ‘Let me out’을 선보였어요.Q: I performed my first self-composed song "Let me out." 작사 작곡 재능이 뛰어난 걸 보니 역시 ‘진쏘울’이 확실하던데요.Seeing that he has excellent writing and composing skills, "Jin Soul" was clear.
▲ ‘내가 잘 할 수 있는 게 뭐가 있을까’에 대한 고민을 많이 했어요.▲ I thought a lot about what I could do well. 결론은 ‘음악’이더라고요.The conclusion was "music." 조금씩 내 스타일의 음악을 만들어보자, 했던 게 작곡의 시작이었던 거 같아요.I think the start of composing was to make my own style of music little by little. 팬분들에게 들려드리고 싶다는 맘으로 조금씩 쓰기 시작했는데, 지난해부터는 각 잡고 제대로 해보자 마음을 먹었죠.I started writing little by little with the desire to let my fans hear it, but since last year, I decided to do it properly. 그렇게 처음 나온 노래가 ‘Let me out’고요.The first song that came out was "Let Me Out." Q 첫 자작곡에 대한 만족도는 어때요?Q. How satisfied are you with your first self-composed song?
▲ 100점 만점에 70점 주고 싶어요.▲ I want to give 70 out of 100. 쓸 때는 몰랐는데 제 맘을 너무 많이 담으려다 보니 좀 과해진 느낌이 들더라고요.I didn't know when I wrote it, but I tried to put in my heart too much, and it felt a little excessive. 힘을 좀 빼고 불렀으면 좋았겠다, 하는 아쉬움이 있어요."I wish I could sing it with less energy." 많이 부족하지만 그래도 이 곡에 대한 만족도가 커요.I'm not good enough, but I'm still very satisfied with this song. 잘해서라기보단, 제 진심과 마음이 많이 담긴 곡이라 애착이 가거든요.It's not because I did well, but because it's a song with a lot of my heart and heart, I'm attached to it.
Q 작사 작곡은 꾸준히 하고 있나요?Q. Are you constantly writing lyrics and composing?
▲ 곡 작업을 계속 하고 있어요.▲ I've been working on songs. 세상에 나올지는 모르겠지만, 써놓은 곡도 꽤 돼요.I don't know if it'll come out in the world, but I've written quite a few songs. 한 8곡 정도.About eight songs. 첫 솔로는 다크한 느낌이었으니, 다음번엔 좀 산뜻하고 밝은 느낌으로 가도 좋을 거 같아요.My first solo was dark, so I think it would be good to go with a refreshing and bright feeling next time. 이거저거 다양한 장르를 시도해 보고 싶어요.I want to try various genres.
Q 솔로 활동하면서 기억에 남는 댓글이나 반응이 있나요?Q. Is there any memorable comment or reaction during your solo promotions?
▲ 홀로서기 준비하면서 노래 연습을 정말 열심히 했어요.▲ While preparing to stand alone, I practiced singing very hard. 솔로 활동을 하려면 보컬적인 부분에 있어서 변화가 필요하겠다는 생각이 들었거든요.I thought that a change in vocal aspect would be necessary to do solo activities. 주로 아이돌 곡을 해오다 보니 목소리를 높고 얇게 내곤 했었는데, 음역대를 넓히고 싶어서 노력을 많이 기울였어요.Since I usually sing idol songs, I used to sing high and thin, but I put a lot of effort into expanding my vocal range. 근데 그걸 딱 알아봐주시는 댓글이 있었어요.But there was a comment that recognized that. 보컬 스타일이 많이 변해서 너무 좋다고 달아주신 댓글을 보고 말할 수 없을 만큼 뿌듯하고 기뻤어요.I was so proud and happy that I couldn't say anything when I saw a comment saying that the vocal style has changed a lot. 제가 정말 듣고 싶었던 말이었거든요.That's what I really wanted to hear.
Q 솔로 데뷔를 하기 전까지 약 1년 정도의 공백기를 어떻게 보냈는지도 궁금해요.Q: I'm also curious about how you spent your break for about a year before your solo debut.
▲ ‘다음’에 대해서 끊임없이 생각했던 거 같아요.▲ I think I thought about "next" constantly. 앞으로 어떤 모습들을 보여드려야 할지, 무슨 활동에 주력해야 할지, 솔로로 활동을 시작하기 위해 어떻게 방향을 잡아야 할지 고민을 많이 했어요.I thought a lot about what I should show in the future, what activities I should focus on, and how I should set the direction to start my solo activities. 홀로 활동을 하려면 음악적으로 더 퀄리티가 높아야 한다는 생각에 ‘음악’만 생각하며 지냈던 거 같아요.I think I only thought of "music" because I thought I had to have higher quality music in order to work alone.
Q 얼마 전 스토리앤플러스에 새 둥지를 틀었지요.Q: I recently built a new nest in Story and Plus. 새 소속사에서의 생활은 어때요?How is your life at your new agency?
▲ 그룹 생활을 하다가 혼자 다녀야 해서 쓸쓸할 법도 한데, 새 식구들 덕분에 외로움을 느낄 겨를이 없었어요.▲ I had to go alone while living in a group, so I might feel lonely, but thanks to my new family, I didn't have time to feel lonely. 오늘 촬영장만 해도 함께 와주신 스태프들이 많이 계시잖아요.There are a lot of staff members who came with us today. 새로운 소속사에서 예쁨을 가득 받고 있어서 행복하고 감사한 나날들을 보내고 있어요.I'm spending my days happy and grateful because my new agency is full of love.
Q 알고 보니 ‘보니하니’ 12대 하니 출신이던데요.Q. It turns out you're from the 12th Hani of Boni Hani. 당시 초등학생에게 인기가 상당했겠어요.It must have been very popular with elementary school students at that time.

▲ 그럼요. 노력 많이 하고 있어요.▲ Of course. I'm trying very hard. 연기 연습도 꾸준히 하고 있고, 다양한 작품 오디션 문을 계속 두드리는 중이에요.I've been practicing acting steadily, and I've been knocking on audition doors for various works. 연기 참고 차 이거저거 작품도 많이 챙겨 보고 있어요.I've been holding back my acting and watching a lot of car works. 평소 강하고 자극적인 작품을 좋아하는 편인데, 특히 요즘 ‘더 글로리’에 푹 빠졌어요.I usually like strong and stimulating works, but I'm especially into "The Glory" these days. 어떤 역할이 오든 기회를 주신다면 열심히 할 준비가 돼 있지만, 아주 악랄한 악역 꼭 해보고 싶더라고요.No matter what role comes, I'm ready to work hard if you give me a chance, but I really want to play a very vicious villain. 집에서 거울 보면서 따라 해 보기도 하고, 다니는 헤어숍 선생님들 앞에서도 보여드리고 했는데, 안 어울린다고 하시더라고요(웃음).I tried copying it while looking at the mirror at home, and I showed it to the hair shop teachers who went to, but they said it didn't suit me (laugh). 그래도 언젠가 기회가 되면 해보고 싶어요.But I'd like to try it someday if I have a chance.
