(홍상수) 감독님께서 연초에 배우들을 다 부르셔서 새해 인사 드리러 갔는데, 베를린에 함께 가자고 이야기하셔서 깜짝 놀랐던 기억이 생생해요.(Hong Sang-soo) I remember being surprised at the beginning of the year when the director called all the actors and went to say hello to them, and they asked me to go to Berlin together. 지금도 가슴이 뜁니다.”My heart still beats."

신석호는 “김민희 실장님은 촬영 일정 조율 및 로케이션 섭외, 촬영 지원 등 통상 PD들이 하는 모든 업무를 담당하셨다.Shin Seok-ho said, "Director Kim Min-hee was in charge of all the tasks that PDs usually do, such as coordinating filming schedules, recruiting locations, and supporting filming. 워낙 오랫동안 현장을 지켜오셨기 때문에 손발이 척척 맞는다”고 했다."You've been watching the scene for so long that your hands and feet are in sync."

“성국이는 워낙 잘 알고 지냈던 사이라 서로 의지가 많이 됐어요."Sung-guk and I were so close to each other that we relied on each other a lot. 연기할 때도 굉장히 편했고요.It was very comfortable when I acted. 승윤이는 현장에서 몇 번 마주친 인연이 있고요.Seungyoon has encountered several times at the scene. 같은 학교 후배라 그런지 처음부터 친근하게 느껴졌어요.Perhaps because we were juniors from the same school, I felt friendly from the beginning. 제주도에서 촬영하며 때로는 함께, 때로는 따로 자유시간도 가지며 여행 온 기분으로 촬영에 임했어요.While filming in Jeju Island, we sometimes had free time together, sometimes separately, and filmed as if we were on a trip. 다들 워낙 감독님에 대한 신뢰가 깊어 어려운 건 별로 없었어요.”Everyone had such a deep trust in the director that there wasn't much difficulty."

(어떤 형태로든) 감독님과의 작업 기회가 계속 있었으면 좋겠고, 그 외에도 새로운 기회가 있다면 기꺼이 참여하고 싶어요.I think I'm still enjoying more than I can do (in some way) and I hope I can continue to work with the director, and if I have any other opportunities, I'd be happy to participate. 배우로서의 커리어가 끊이질 않았으면 좋겠어요.I hope my career as an actor won't 그러려면 현실에 너무 쫓기면 안 되잖아요.In order to do that, you can't be too obsessed with reality. 꿈을 위해 열심히 살고 있습니다.I'm working hard for my dream. 저만의 방식으로.(웃음)”In my own way. “성국이는 워낙 잘 알고 지냈던 사이라 서로 의지가 많이 됐어요."Sung-guk and I were so close to each other that we relied on each other a lot. 연기할 때도 굉장히 편했고요.It was very comfortable when I acted. 승윤이는 현장에서 몇 번 마주친 인연이 있고요.Seungyoon has encountered several times at the scene. 같은 학교 후배라 그런지 처음부터 친근하게 느껴졌어요.Perhaps because we were juniors from the same school, I felt friendly from the beginning. 제주도에서 촬영하며 때로는 함께, 때로는 따로 자유시간도 가지며 여행 온 기분으로 촬영에 임했어요.While filming in Jeju Island, we sometimes had free time together, sometimes separately, and filmed as if we were on a trip. 다들 워낙 감독님에 대한 신뢰가 깊어 어려운 건 별로 없었어요.”Everyone had such a deep trust in the director that there wasn't much difficulty."

“큰 욕심을 가지면 오히려 잘못된 선택을 할까봐, 자연스럽게 열린 마음으로 일도 연기도 최선을 다 하고 있어요."I'm afraid I'll make the wrong choice if I'm greedy, so I'm naturally doing my best at work and acting with an open mind. 조급해지지 않기 위해서요.So that you don't get impatient. 저는 지금도 제 능력 이상의 것을 누리고 있다고 생각해요. ‘물 안에서’는 오는 2월 16일부터 26일까지 열리는 제73회 베를린영화제에서 월드 프리미어(세계 최초 상영)로 선보인 뒤 올해 상반기 국내 극장 개봉할 예정이다."In Water" will be presented as a world premiere (the world's first screening) at the 73rd Berlin Film Festival, which will be held from February 16 to 26, and will be released in theaters in Korea in the first half of this year.
