A 이성민 선배와는 예전에 만난 적이 있는데 기억해주시더라.I met Lee Seong-min before, but he remembered me. 김정난 배우 팬이라 대본리딩을 하면서 울 뻔했다.I almost cried while reading the script because I was an actor's fan. (웃음) 많은 스타들과 작업을 해봤지만 이번에는 그들의 유연함에 대해 많이 느꼈다.(Laughs) I've worked with many stars, but this time I felt a lot about their flexibility. 저는 감독과의 소통을 어려워하는 사람 중에 한 명이다.I am one of the people who find it difficult to communicate with the director. 내 아이디어가 있어도 목소리를 작게 내는 스타일이고 나로 인해 민폐가 되지 않을까 생각한다.Even if I have my own ideas, I tend to speak quietly, and I think I will cause inconvenience. 그런데 그 배우들은 컷할 건 컷하고, 취할 건 취하더라.But those actors cut what they need to cut, and get drunk what they need to get drunk. 조현철 배우를 보면서도 그런 베테랑급의, 넘나드는 공기의 흐름은 따라가지 못할 것 같단 생각을 했다.Looking at actor Cho Hyun-chul, I thought that the flow of air, which is veteran-level, would not be able to keep up. 없는 공기마저도 따뜻하게 만들어주는 배우들이었다.They were actors who made even the air without it warm.

Q 결국 의붓아들에게 위로를 받으며 도피하는 이필옥의 모습이 기억에 남더라.Q In the end, I remember Lee Pil-ok running away with comfort from his stepson. 겉으로는 한 없이 인자하고 우아해 보이지만 그 내면이 복잡 다단한 캐릭터였다.On the outside, he seemed to be merciful and elegant, but on the inside he was a complicated and diverse character. 원작 캐릭터가 있을텐데 드라마에서는 어떻게 가져가려고 했는지There must be an original character, but how did you try to take it from the drama?
A 웹툰을 100회 이상 보다가 대본과 헷갈려서 관뒀는데 남자들이 보면 재밌겠다 싶었다.I watched webtoon A more than 100 times and quit because I was confused with the script, but I thought it would be fun for men to watch it. 주인공이 뭐든 전지적으로 아는 것이 통쾌하게 봐지지 않나.Doesn't it seem pleasant for the protagonist to know everything externally? 재벌들 삶을 엿보고 그들을 타파하는 그런 모습들.It's like getting a glimpse of the lives of the chaebols and breaking them down. 진양철은 굉장히 외로운 사람이란 생각을 했고, 우리나라 재벌도 그러지 않을까.I thought Jin Yang-cheol was a very lonely person, and I think Korean conglomerates would be like that.
마지막 장면은 비로소 배 다른 아들 진윤기에게서 위로를 받는, 정말 기가 막힌 장면이었다.The last scene was a truly amazing scene where he was comforted by his other son, Jin Yoon- 많이 울었고, 감독님이 마지막에 찍도록 도와주셨다.I cried a lot, and the director helped me film it at the end. 이필옥은 자기 자식들을 살리겠다고 살인 청부까지 했는데 결국 진윤기의 한 마디에 위로 받았다.Lee Pil-ok even made a murder contract to save his children, but in the end, he was comforted by Jin Yoon-ki's words. 이필옥의 참회의 눈물이기도 하지 않았나 싶다.I think it was also Lee Pil-ok's tears of repentance.

A 제가 원래 제 연기가 오글거려서 안 본다. (웃음) 배우들 중에 자기 연기를 보기 힘들어하는 사람이 있는데 제가 그렇다.A: I usually don't watch my acting because it's cheesy. (Laughs) There are some actors who find it difficult to watch their acting, but I do. 본 방송을 보는 경우가 없는데 이건 좀 꿈틀했던 게 대본이 워낙 재밌고, 송중기 배우와 이성민 선배도 나오니까 대박이 날 거 같다는 생각이 들었다.I don't watch the actual broadcast, but the script was so fun that I thought it would be a hit because actor Song Joong-ki and senior Lee Sung-min came out. 1~2부는 안 봤는데 봐야겠다 싶어서 10시 안에는 집에 와서 본 방송을 봤다.I didn't watch the first and second parts, but I thought I should watch it, so I came home within 10 o'clock and watched the actual 오글거리는 연기를 보면서도 전체 호흡 안에서 제가 어떻게 들어가 있고, 어떤 신이 나오는지 보고 싶었다.While watching the cringeworthy acting, I wanted to see how I was in the whole breath and what kind of god came out.
Q 우아한 재벌가 안주인의 모습 아래에 '흑막'을 숨기고 있는 인물이었다.Q. He was a person hiding a "black screen" under the appearance of an elegant rich man's 표현을 위해 힘쓴 부분이 있다면If there's anything you worked hard on to express,
A 대본의 흐름이 99%를 다 해주니까 제가 다른 마음을 품어야지 그런 생각은 안했던 거 같다.I don't think I thought that I should have a different mind because the flow of script A does 99% of it. 제가 원래 그런 스타일이기도 하다.That's the way I am. 이미 잘 쌓아놨으니까 그 다음 연기톤을 갈 때 얼굴의 인상을 많이 사용하긴 했다.I used to use a lot of facial impressions when I changed my acting tone because I had already stacked it up well. 평소에도 많이 쓰긴 하지만 막판에 '흑화'가 됐을 때는 쓸 수 있는 얼굴의 근육을 다 썼다.It is usually used a lot, but when it was "blackened" at the last minute, I used up all the muscles on my face that I could use. 그냥 거기에 몰입을 했다.I was just immersed in it. 제가 자존감이 높은 배우는 아니다.I'm not an actor with high self-esteem. 그래서 감독님이 '선배님이 다양한 얼굴을 갖고 있다'면서 그걸 믿고 가라고 했었다.So the director said, "The senior has various faces," and told me to believe it and go. 제게 힘이 됐었다.It helped me a lot. 보통 감독님은 어려운데 정말 정대윤 감독님은 문자도 주시고 격려를 해주셨다.It's usually difficult for a coach, but really, coach Jung Dae-yoon texted and encouraged me.
Q 노인 분장에도 굉장히 긴 시간을 투자한 것으로 안다.Q I know that you have invested a very long time in dressing up as an elderly person. 이필옥만 입고 나오는 한복 패션이 인상적이었다The hanbok fashion that only Lee Pilok wears was impressive.
A 한복이 제 살을 커버해줘서 먹는 것에 개의치 않았다.A hanbok covered my skin, so I didn't mind eating it. (웃음) 의상, 분장, 헤어에만 2시간이 걸렸다.(Laughs) It took me two hours just to dress up, dress up and get my hair done. 또 속에 아무거나 입어도 되니까 껴입기가 좋았다."Also, I could wear anything underneath, so it was good to bundle up." 추울 때는 10개 이상 핫팩을 붙이기도 했다.When it was cold, more than 10 hot packs were put on. 제가 원래 추위를 많이 타기도 한다.I've always been sensitive to cold. (김)신록이는 워낙 말라서 한복이 아니었지만 (핫팩을) 12개 정도 붙이고 그랬었다.Shinrok (Kim) was so thin that it wasn't hanbok, but he put about 12 hot packs on it.

A 원작처럼 진도준의 해피엔딩이었다면 속이 후련했을 거다.If it was Jin Do-joon's happy ending like the original A, I would have been relieved. 하지만 작가의 기쁨을 누리려면 다르게 결론을 내리고 싶었을 거다.However, in order to enjoy the artist's joy, he would have wanted to conclude differently. 저는 존중한다.I respect that. 또 다른 재미가 있는 거라서 잘 봤다.It was another interesting thing, so I enjoyed it. 이렇게 막 이야기가 나오는 것만으로도 재미있다.It's fun just to talk about it like this.
Q 각자 뚜렷한 매력을 가진 중년 여성 배우들이 방송과 OTT를 넘나들며 경계 없이 활약 중이다.Q Middle-aged female actors with distinct charms are playing without boundaries, crossing broadcasting and OTT. 본인에게도 그런 기회가 찾아온 느낌이 드는지Do you feel like you're getting that opportunity?
A 그런 생각을 별로 안 해봤다.A: I haven't thought about it very much. 연극을 하면서 스타가 되거나, 돈을 벌어야 하고, 연극에서도 탑이 되어야 하고, 그런 목표가 있었다면 빨리 그만뒀을 거다.You have to become a star while playing, make money, and become the top in the play, and if you had such a goal, you would have quit quickly. 30년 넘게 연극을 한 건, 한 작품이 들어올 때마다 충실히 했던 게 발판이 된 거다.Having been in a play for more than 30 years became a stepping stone to what he faithfully did every time a work came in. 그러다 이필옥을 만나게 된 거다.Then I met Lee Pil-ok. 어디든 작품이 들어오면 그 안에서 잘 수행하는 게 제 목표인 것 같다.I think my goal is to perform well in a work whenever it comes in. '스위트홈'이 제 발판이 됐다면, '재벌집'은 좋은 터닝 포인트가 됐다.If "Sweet Home" became a stepping stone, "Rich House" became a good turning point. 감사하고, 또 마음을 잘 다잡고 가려고 한다.I'm grateful, and I'm trying to pull myself together. 일희일비 하지 않고, 하나 들어오면 들어오는대로 갈 생각이다.I'm not going to be happy or sad, but I'm going to go as soon as I come in when I come in.
Q 매체 연기를 좀 더 일찍 시작했다면 어땠을까Q. What would it have been like if you started acting in media earlier?
A 일찍 시작하지 않은 게 너무 다행이다.A, I'm so glad you didn't start early. 내가 만약에 20대에 왔다고 하면 그만뒀을 수도 있지 않았을까 싶다.If I had come to my twenties, I might have quit. 환경이 많이 열악했으니, 사람 취급을 못 받았을 수도 있다.The environment was very poor, so I may not have been treated like a human being. 어려웠던 시절이 있었다.There was a difficult time. 그렇기에 40대 후반에 들어온 게 다행인 것 같다.Therefore, I think it is fortunate that I entered my late 40s. 다시 태어나서 연기를 해도 바로 대학로를 갈 거다.Even if I was born again and acted, I would go to Daehak-ro right away. 이번엔 30년이 넘어서 관심을 받았는데 그 때는 15년 안에 승부를 내고 싶다.This time, he has received attention for more than 30 years, and at that time, he wants to win within 15 years. 매체 연기는 늦게 들어오는 걸 추천하는 편이다.Media acting is recommended to come in late. 물론 젊은 시절의 연기 생활을 영상으로 남기는 것도 있겠지만 20년 정도는 무대를 밟고 그 다음에 가는 것도 나쁘지 않다.Of course, some of my youth acting career may be recorded as a video, but it is not a bad idea to go on stage for about 20 years and then go. 어차피 잘하면 가만히 안 내버려둔다.If you do well, you won't let it go. (웃음) 매체 쪽 사람들도 끊임없이 새로운 얼굴을 찾는다.People in the media are constantly looking for new faces. 요즘 젊은 연극 배우들은 매체와 잘 맞아 떨어지는 하이퍼 리얼리즘 식의 소박한 연기를 한다.These days, young theater actors perform simple, hyperrealistic performances that fit well with the media. 딱히 연극 연기와 매체 연기가 다르지 않다고 생각한다.I don't think there's any difference between theater acting and media acting. 강약 조절은 배우 역량이다.Controlling strength and weakness is an actor's ability. 다만 카메라 앞에서 하는 연기는 영원히 익숙하지 않을 것 같다.However, I don't think I'll ever get used to acting in front of the camera. 그게 자유로운 배우들이 부럽다.I envy actors who are free to do so. 척하는 제 모습이 느껴져 아직까지 쉽지 않다.It's still not easy because I can feel myself pretending.

A 먼저 선구자적으로 닦아 놓은 선생님들이 계셨고 30대 후반부터 살살 그런 분위기가 됐다.There were teachers who had pioneered A first, and the atmosphere gradually became like that from their late 30s. 우리가 프로필을 들고 다니면 기회가 온다고 해서 쫓아다니기 시작했다.They said we would have a chance if we carried our profile around, so we started chasing them. '평생 연극 무대에 설 것'이라고 했지만 돌아가는 분위기와 K-드라마가 난리가 났으니까 반경을 넓혀보는 것도 좋겠다고 생각했다.He said he would stand on the stage of a play for the rest of his life, but he thought it would be good to expand his radius because the atmosphere and K-drama were going crazy. 주변 친구들 영향도 컸다.The influence of friends around him was also great. 우리에게도 서서히 기회가 오나 싶어서 캐스팅 디렉터들에게도 어필하기 시작했다.I started to appeal to the casting directors because I thought we would have a chance. 그러면서 자연스럽게 하나 둘 작품이 왔던 거 같다.At the same time, I think one by one, the works came naturally.
Q 극단 모시는 사람들 소속이다.Q Theater Company is affiliated with people. 함께 방송에 진출한 동료들은 누가 있을까Who will be on the show with you?
A 우리 단원이 30~40명 정도인데 처음 매체로 진출한 게 김재화 배우였다.Actor Kim Jae-hwa was the first actor to enter the media, with about 30 to 40 A members. 그 친구는 처음 봤을 때부터 아우라가 달랐다.He had a different aura from the first time I saw him. 약간 엉뚱하기 이를 데 없었다.It was a bit of a quirk. (웃음) 예를 들어 우리가 플라멩코를 배우면 저는 일주일에 한 번 배워도 감사하다.(Laughs) For example, if we learn flamenco, I'm grateful to learn it once a week. 그런데 재화는 '선배님 저 스페인 비행기 끊었어요' 이런 식이다.But the goods are like, "Senior, I bought a plane from Spain." 에든버러에 가서 힘들게 공연을 할 때도 재화는 벌써 현지에 신청을 마쳐서 쉬는 시간에 자기가 혼자 만든 모노드라마를 길거리 공연하고 그랬다.Even when I went to Edinburgh and had a hard time performing, Jae-hwa had already finished applying locally, and he performed his monodrama on the street during the break. 참 좋아하는 후배고 지금도 소통하고 있다.I really like him, and I still communicate with him. A 뜻밖에 좋은 감독님, 작가님, 훌륭한 스태프들, 배우들을 만났다.A unexpectedly good director, writer, great staff, and actors. 그 동안 고생했던 보람이 있었던 거 같다.It seems that the hard work has been worthwhile. 스스로 칭찬을 해주고 싶은 해다.It's a year I want to praise myself. 자존감 낮은 사람이니까 높이기 위해 의무적으로 칭찬해야 된다.He is a person with low self-esteem, so he must praise him in order to raise his self-esteem. A 이성민 선배와는 예전에 만난 적이 있는데 기억해주시더라.I met Lee Seong-min before, but he remembered me. 김정난 배우 팬이라 대본리딩을 하면서 울 뻔했다.I almost cried while reading the script because I was an actor's fan. (웃음) 많은 스타들과 작업을 해봤지만 이번에는 그들의 유연함에 대해 많이 느꼈다.(Laughs) I've worked with many stars, but this time I felt a lot about their flexibility. 저는 감독과의 소통을 어려워하는 사람 중에 한 명이다.I am one of the people who find it difficult to communicate with the director. 내 아이디어가 있어도 목소리를 작게 내는 스타일이고 나로 인해 민폐가 되지 않을까 생각한다.Even if I have my own ideas, I tend to speak quietly, and I think I will cause inconvenience. 그런데 그 배우들은 컷할 건 컷하고, 취할 건 취하더라.But those actors cut what they need to cut, and get drunk what they need to get drunk. 조현철 배우를 보면서도 그런 베테랑급의, 넘나드는 공기의 흐름은 따라가지 못할 것 같단 생각을 했다.Looking at actor Cho Hyun-chul, I thought that the flow of air, which is veteran-level, would not be able to keep up. 없는 공기마저도 따뜻하게 만들어주는 배우들이었다.They were actors who made even the air without it warm.

A 송중기가 달리 주인공이겠나.A Song Joong-ki is not the main character. 어떤 신을 구현할 때 상대방에게 충분히 도움이 될 수 있는 동선과 워킹을 잘 받쳐주고 맞이해준다.When implementing a certain god, it supports and welcomes the other person well enough to help him or her. 원래 내가 범인이라고 밝혀진 부분에서는 '놀란다' '겁에 질린다' 정도가 지문이었다.Originally, in the part where I was found to be the criminal, the degree of "surprised" and "fearful" was the fingerprint. 그런데 송중기가 '낚아 채면 어떨까요'라고 하더라.But Song Joong-ki said, "Why don't you catch him?" 나야 뭔가를 하고 싶었는데 어떻게 할 지 몰랐기 때문에 너무 좋았다.I wanted to do something, but I didn't know what to do, so I was very happy. 그래서 낚아 채고 부시고 그런 장면이 나왔다.So there was a scene where they snatched and smashed it. 나는 주인공에게 피해가 되지 않을까 그런 이야기를 많이 곱씹다가 하게 되는데 송중기에게 배려가 있었다.I thought a lot about whether it would harm the main character and said it, but Song Joong-ki was considerate.
이성민 선배 연기는 소름이 끼쳤다.Lee Sung-min's performance gave me goosebumps. 정기가 쩌렁쩌렁한 큰 산 같다는 생각이 들었다.I thought it was like a big mountain full of energy. 정말 단단한 사람이구나 싶었다.I thought he was a very strong person. 현장에서 배우들과의 호흡도 있지만 후반 작업에서 제 연기를 많이 도와주시고 포장해줬다.There is also breathing with actors in the field, but in the second half of the work, he helped me a lot and wrapped up my acting. 배우들의 단점을 커버하고, 연기를 유기적으로 만들어주는데 스태프들이 엄청난 공헌을 했다.The staff made a tremendous contribution to covering the actors' shortcomings and making their acting organic. 그분들의 노고가 크다.Their hard work is great. Q 결국 의붓아들에게 위로를 받으며 도피하는 이필옥의 모습이 기억에 남더라.Q In the end, I remember Lee Pil-ok running away with comfort from his stepson. 겉으로는 한 없이 인자하고 우아해 보이지만 그 내면이 복잡 다단한 캐릭터였다.On the outside, he seemed to be merciful and elegant, but on the inside he was a complicated and diverse character. 원작 캐릭터가 있을텐데 드라마에서는 어떻게 가져가려고 했는지There must be an original character, but how did you try to take it from the drama?
A 웹툰을 100회 이상 보다가 대본과 헷갈려서 관뒀는데 남자들이 보면 재밌겠다 싶었다.I watched webtoon A more than 100 times and quit because I was confused with the script, but I thought it would be fun for men to watch it. 주인공이 뭐든 전지적으로 아는 것이 통쾌하게 봐지지 않나.Doesn't it seem pleasant for the protagonist to know everything externally? 재벌들 삶을 엿보고 그들을 타파하는 그런 모습들.It's like getting a glimpse of the lives of the chaebols and breaking them down. 진양철은 굉장히 외로운 사람이란 생각을 했고, 우리나라 재벌도 그러지 않을까.I thought Jin Yang-cheol was a very lonely person, and I think Korean conglomerates would be like that.
마지막 장면은 비로소 배 다른 아들 진윤기에게서 위로를 받는, 정말 기가 막힌 장면이었다.The last scene was a truly amazing scene where he was comforted by his other son, Jin Yoon- 많이 울었고, 감독님이 마지막에 찍도록 도와주셨다.I cried a lot, and the director helped me film it at the end. 이필옥은 자기 자식들을 살리겠다고 살인 청부까지 했는데 결국 진윤기의 한 마디에 위로 받았다.Lee Pil-ok even made a murder contract to save his children, but in the end, he was comforted by Jin Yoon-ki's words. 이필옥의 참회의 눈물이기도 하지 않았나 싶다.I think it was also Lee Pil-ok's tears of repentance.

Did you check the reactions to Lee Pil-ok's acting or did you monitor it yourself?
A 제가 원래 제 연기가 오글거려서 안 본다. (웃음) 배우들 중에 자기 연기를 보기 힘들어하는 사람이 있는데 제가 그렇다.A: I usually don't watch my acting because it's cheesy. (Laughs) There are some actors who find it difficult to watch their acting, but I do. 본 방송을 보는 경우가 없는데 이건 좀 꿈틀했던 게 대본이 워낙 재밌고, 송중기 배우와 이성민 선배도 나오니까 대박이 날 거 같다는 생각이 들었다.I don't watch the actual broadcast, but the script was so fun that I thought it would be a hit because actor Song Joong-ki and senior Lee Sung-min came out. 1~2부는 안 봤는데 봐야겠다 싶어서 10시 안에는 집에 와서 본 방송을 봤다.I didn't watch the first and second parts, but I thought I should watch it, so I came home within 10 o'clock and watched the actual 오글거리는 연기를 보면서도 전체 호흡 안에서 제가 어떻게 들어가 있고, 어떤 신이 나오는지 보고 싶었다.While watching the cringeworthy acting, I wanted to see how I was in the whole breath and what kind of god came out.
Q 우아한 재벌가 안주인의 모습 아래에 '흑막'을 숨기고 있는 인물이었다.Q. He was a person hiding a "black screen" under the appearance of an elegant rich man's 표현을 위해 힘쓴 부분이 있다면If there's anything you worked hard on to express,
A 대본의 흐름이 99%를 다 해주니까 제가 다른 마음을 품어야지 그런 생각은 안했던 거 같다.I don't think I thought that I should have a different mind because the flow of script A does 99% of it. 제가 원래 그런 스타일이기도 하다.That's the way I am. 이미 잘 쌓아놨으니까 그 다음 연기톤을 갈 때 얼굴의 인상을 많이 사용하긴 했다.I used to use a lot of facial impressions when I changed my acting tone because I had already stacked it up well. 평소에도 많이 쓰긴 하지만 막판에 '흑화'가 됐을 때는 쓸 수 있는 얼굴의 근육을 다 썼다.It is usually used a lot, but when it was "blackened" at the last minute, I used up all the muscles on my face that I could use. 그냥 거기에 몰입을 했다.I was just immersed in it. 제가 자존감이 높은 배우는 아니다.I'm not an actor with high self-esteem. 그래서 감독님이 '선배님이 다양한 얼굴을 갖고 있다'면서 그걸 믿고 가라고 했었다.So the director said, "The senior has various faces," and told me to believe it and go. 제게 힘이 됐었다.It helped me a lot. 보통 감독님은 어려운데 정말 정대윤 감독님은 문자도 주시고 격려를 해주셨다.It's usually difficult for a coach, but really, coach Jung Dae-yoon texted and encouraged me.
Q 노인 분장에도 굉장히 긴 시간을 투자한 것으로 안다.Q I know that you have invested a very long time in dressing up as an elderly person. 이필옥만 입고 나오는 한복 패션이 인상적이었다The hanbok fashion that only Lee Pilok wears was impressive.
A 한복이 제 살을 커버해줘서 먹는 것에 개의치 않았다.A hanbok covered my skin, so I didn't mind eating it. (웃음) 의상, 분장, 헤어에만 2시간이 걸렸다.(Laughs) It took me two hours just to dress up, dress up and get my hair done. 또 속에 아무거나 입어도 되니까 껴입기가 좋았다."Also, I could wear anything underneath, so it was good to bundle up." 추울 때는 10개 이상 핫팩을 붙이기도 했다.When it was cold, more than 10 hot packs were put on. 제가 원래 추위를 많이 타기도 한다.I've always been sensitive to cold. (김)신록이는 워낙 말라서 한복이 아니었지만 (핫팩을) 12개 정도 붙이고 그랬었다.Shinrok (Kim) was so thin that it wasn't hanbok, but he put about 12 hot packs on it.

A 원작처럼 진도준의 해피엔딩이었다면 속이 후련했을 거다.If it was Jin Do-joon's happy ending like the original A, I would have been relieved. 하지만 작가의 기쁨을 누리려면 다르게 결론을 내리고 싶었을 거다.However, in order to enjoy the artist's joy, he would have wanted to conclude differently. 저는 존중한다.I respect that. 또 다른 재미가 있는 거라서 잘 봤다.It was another interesting thing, so I enjoyed it. 이렇게 막 이야기가 나오는 것만으로도 재미있다.It's fun just to talk about it like this.
Q 각자 뚜렷한 매력을 가진 중년 여성 배우들이 방송과 OTT를 넘나들며 경계 없이 활약 중이다.Q Middle-aged female actors with distinct charms are playing without boundaries, crossing broadcasting and OTT. 본인에게도 그런 기회가 찾아온 느낌이 드는지Do you feel like you're getting that opportunity?
A 그런 생각을 별로 안 해봤다.A: I haven't thought about it very much. 연극을 하면서 스타가 되거나, 돈을 벌어야 하고, 연극에서도 탑이 되어야 하고, 그런 목표가 있었다면 빨리 그만뒀을 거다.You have to become a star while playing, make money, and become the top in the play, and if you had such a goal, you would have quit quickly. 30년 넘게 연극을 한 건, 한 작품이 들어올 때마다 충실히 했던 게 발판이 된 거다.Having been in a play for more than 30 years became a stepping stone to what he faithfully did every time a work came in. 그러다 이필옥을 만나게 된 거다.Then I met Lee Pil-ok. 어디든 작품이 들어오면 그 안에서 잘 수행하는 게 제 목표인 것 같다.I think my goal is to perform well in a work whenever it comes in. '스위트홈'이 제 발판이 됐다면, '재벌집'은 좋은 터닝 포인트가 됐다.If "Sweet Home" became a stepping stone, "Rich House" became a good turning point. 감사하고, 또 마음을 잘 다잡고 가려고 한다.I'm grateful, and I'm trying to pull myself together. 일희일비 하지 않고, 하나 들어오면 들어오는대로 갈 생각이다.I'm not going to be happy or sad, but I'm going to go as soon as I come in when I come in.
Q 매체 연기를 좀 더 일찍 시작했다면 어땠을까Q. What would it have been like if you started acting in media earlier?
A 일찍 시작하지 않은 게 너무 다행이다.A, I'm so glad you didn't start early. 내가 만약에 20대에 왔다고 하면 그만뒀을 수도 있지 않았을까 싶다.If I had come to my twenties, I might have quit. 환경이 많이 열악했으니, 사람 취급을 못 받았을 수도 있다.The environment was very poor, so I may not have been treated like a human being. 어려웠던 시절이 있었다.There was a difficult time. 그렇기에 40대 후반에 들어온 게 다행인 것 같다.Therefore, I think it is fortunate that I entered my late 40s. 다시 태어나서 연기를 해도 바로 대학로를 갈 거다.Even if I was born again and acted, I would go to Daehak-ro right away. 이번엔 30년이 넘어서 관심을 받았는데 그 때는 15년 안에 승부를 내고 싶다.This time, he has received attention for more than 30 years, and at that time, he wants to win within 15 years. 매체 연기는 늦게 들어오는 걸 추천하는 편이다.Media acting is recommended to come in late. 물론 젊은 시절의 연기 생활을 영상으로 남기는 것도 있겠지만 20년 정도는 무대를 밟고 그 다음에 가는 것도 나쁘지 않다.Of course, some of my youth acting career may be recorded as a video, but it is not a bad idea to go on stage for about 20 years and then go. 어차피 잘하면 가만히 안 내버려둔다.If you do well, you won't let it go. (웃음) 매체 쪽 사람들도 끊임없이 새로운 얼굴을 찾는다.People in the media are constantly looking for new faces. 요즘 젊은 연극 배우들은 매체와 잘 맞아 떨어지는 하이퍼 리얼리즘 식의 소박한 연기를 한다.These days, young theater actors perform simple, hyperrealistic performances that fit well with the media. 딱히 연극 연기와 매체 연기가 다르지 않다고 생각한다.I don't think there's any difference between theater acting and media acting. 강약 조절은 배우 역량이다.Controlling strength and weakness is an actor's ability. 다만 카메라 앞에서 하는 연기는 영원히 익숙하지 않을 것 같다.However, I don't think I'll ever get used to acting in front of the camera. 그게 자유로운 배우들이 부럽다.I envy actors who are free to do so. 척하는 제 모습이 느껴져 아직까지 쉽지 않다.It's still not easy because I can feel myself pretending.

A 먼저 선구자적으로 닦아 놓은 선생님들이 계셨고 30대 후반부터 살살 그런 분위기가 됐다.There were teachers who had pioneered A first, and the atmosphere gradually became like that from their late 30s. 우리가 프로필을 들고 다니면 기회가 온다고 해서 쫓아다니기 시작했다.They said we would have a chance if we carried our profile around, so we started chasing them. '평생 연극 무대에 설 것'이라고 했지만 돌아가는 분위기와 K-드라마가 난리가 났으니까 반경을 넓혀보는 것도 좋겠다고 생각했다.He said he would stand on the stage of a play for the rest of his life, but he thought it would be good to expand his radius because the atmosphere and K-drama were going crazy. 주변 친구들 영향도 컸다.The influence of friends around him was also great. 우리에게도 서서히 기회가 오나 싶어서 캐스팅 디렉터들에게도 어필하기 시작했다.I started to appeal to the casting directors because I thought we would have a chance. 그러면서 자연스럽게 하나 둘 작품이 왔던 거 같다.At the same time, I think one by one, the works came naturally.
Q 극단 모시는 사람들 소속이다.Q Theater Company is affiliated with people. 함께 방송에 진출한 동료들은 누가 있을까Who will be on the show with you?
A 우리 단원이 30~40명 정도인데 처음 매체로 진출한 게 김재화 배우였다.Actor Kim Jae-hwa was the first actor to enter the media, with about 30 to 40 A members. 그 친구는 처음 봤을 때부터 아우라가 달랐다.He had a different aura from the first time I saw him. 약간 엉뚱하기 이를 데 없었다.It was a bit of a quirk. (웃음) 예를 들어 우리가 플라멩코를 배우면 저는 일주일에 한 번 배워도 감사하다.(Laughs) For example, if we learn flamenco, I'm grateful to learn it once a week. 그런데 재화는 '선배님 저 스페인 비행기 끊었어요' 이런 식이다.But the goods are like, "Senior, I bought a plane from Spain." 에든버러에 가서 힘들게 공연을 할 때도 재화는 벌써 현지에 신청을 마쳐서 쉬는 시간에 자기가 혼자 만든 모노드라마를 길거리 공연하고 그랬다.Even when I went to Edinburgh and had a hard time performing, Jae-hwa had already finished applying locally, and he performed his monodrama on the street during the break. 참 좋아하는 후배고 지금도 소통하고 있다.I really like him, and I still communicate with him. A 뜻밖에 좋은 감독님, 작가님, 훌륭한 스태프들, 배우들을 만났다.A unexpectedly good director, writer, great staff, and actors. 그 동안 고생했던 보람이 있었던 거 같다.It seems that the hard work has been worthwhile. 스스로 칭찬을 해주고 싶은 해다.It's a year I want to praise myself. 자존감 낮은 사람이니까 높이기 위해 의무적으로 칭찬해야 된다.He is a person with low self-esteem, so he must praise him in order to raise his self-esteem. (웃음) 내년에는 일주일에 5번은 걸어야 되지 않을까 싶다.(Laughs) I think I'll have to walk five times a week next year. 플라멩코를 10년 넘게 췄으니까 내년에 발표회든 공연이든 하나 해야 되지 않을까 싶다.Since I've been dancing flamenco for more than 10 years, I think I should do a presentation or a performance next year. 요즘에는 선생님 얼굴을 일주일에 한 번 보고, 밥 먹으러 가는 식이다.These days, they look at the teacher's face once a week and go to eat. (웃음) 운동을 하기 너무 싫어하니까 이거라도 하자는 마음이다.(Laughs) I really hate exercising, so I want to do this. 한 달에 쉬운 책 한두권 읽는 것도 계속하고…I keep reading one or two easy books a month.... 드라마는 너무 많이는 말고 주어지는 대로 적당히 하고 싶다.I don't want too many dramas, but I want to do as much as I can.
