23일 법조계에 따르면 대전지방검찰청 서산지청은 지난달 25일 강제추행 혐의로 송치된 이상벽을 기소유예 처분했다.According to the legal community on the 23rd, the Seosan branch of the Daejeon District Prosecutors' Office suspended the indictment of Lee Sang-byeok, who was sent on charges of forced harassment on the 25th of last month.
이상벽은 지난 8월 한 식당에서 40대 여성의 신체를 만진 혐의로 9월 피소됐다.Lee Sang-byeok was accused in September of touching a woman in her 40s at a restaurant in August. 검찰은 이상벽의 죄질이 가볍지 않으나 그가 혐의를 모두 인정하고 피해자와 합의한 점을 고려해 기소유예 처분을 내렸다.The prosecution suspended the indictment considering that Lee Sang-byeok's crime was not light, but he admitted all the charges and agreed with the victim. 이같은 소식이 뒤늦게 알려진 뒤 이상벽은 여러 언론과의 인터뷰에서 사건 당시 상황을 설명했다.After the news became belatedly known, Lee Sang-byeok explained the situation at the time of the incident in interviews with various media. 그는 "결혼식 주례를 봐주기로 한 지인과 점심 먹는 자리였고 A씨는 식당 사람이 지인이라며 소개해준 여성"이라며 "(A씨가) 처음부터 취해있더라.He said, "It was a lunch with an acquaintance who was supposed to officiate the wedding, and Mr. A was a woman who introduced him as an acquaintance of a restaurant," adding, "He (Mr. A) was drunk from the beginning." 친근하게 계속 러브샷을 하자고 들이대기에 자연스럽게 맞춰준 것"이라고 주장했다.It was natural for me to keep asking for love shots in a friendly way."

이에 대해 A씨 측은 SBS 연예뉴스를 통해 "만취는커녕 술을 마시지 않은 상태로 그 식당에 갔다"며 "바로 이상벽 씨 옆에 앉을 상황도 아닌데 옆자리 일행이 밖으로 나가자 다시 세팅해서 옆자리에 앉았다.In response, A said through SBS Entertainment News, "I went to the restaurant without drinking, let alone getting drunk," adding, "I'm not in a situation to sit next to Lee Sang-byeok, but when the party next to him went outside, I set it up again and sat next to him." 스킨십을 먼저 할 이유도 전혀 없다"고 이씨의 주장을 반박했다.There is no reason to touch each other first," he refuted Lee's claim.
