12월 20일 첫 방송되는 '불타는 트롯맨'은 트로트 쾌남들의 인생을 건 도전을 다루는 서바이벌 프로그램.First broadcast on Dec. 20, "Burning Trotman" is a survival program that deals with the challenges of trot cool men. TV조선 '미스트롯' '미스터트롯' 시리즈로 대한민국에 트로트 열풍을 부른 서혜진 PD가 MBN과 손을 잡고 새롭게 선보이는 남자 트로트 오디션이다.It is a men's trot audition that producer Seo Hye-jin, who sang trot fever in Korea with the TV Chosun's "Miss Trot" and "Mr Trot" series, joins hands with MBN and presents it anew.
'불타는 트롯맨'은 TV조선 '미스터트롯2'보다 이틀 먼저 방송된다."Burning Trotman" airs two days earlier than TV Chosun's "Mr. Trot 2." 일각에서는 "또 트로트 오디션이냐"는 반응이 나오고 있지만, 서혜진 PD는 뉴트롯맨 시대에 '불타는 트롯맨'이 트로트 오디션계의 큰 변화를 만들어낼 것이라 확신한다.Some say, "Is it another trot audition?" but producer Seo Hye-jin is confident that "Burning Trotman" will make a big change in the trot audition world in the New Trotman era. 기존의 형태로는 더이상 승산이 없겠다고 판단한 만큼, 지금까지와 다른 새로운 시스템으로 '제1의 스타'를 만들겠다는 포부다.As it was determined that there would be no more chance of winning in the existing form, it is ambitious to create a "first star" with a new system different from the previous one.

▲서혜진 PD: 당연히 섭외하려 했다.▲Producer Seo Hye-jin: Of course I wanted to invite her. 그분들의 이야기를 들어보니, 그분들이 굳이 '불타는 트롯맨'에 나와야 할 이유가 없더라.Listening to them, there was no reason for them to appear in "Burning Trotman." '나는 '미스터트롯'인데 내가 왜 '불타는 트롯맨'에 나와야 돼?'라는 것이다."I'm Mr. Trot, but why do I have to appear in Burning Trotman?" 결국 모든 것이 원점으로 돌아갔다.In the end, everything went back to square one. '우리는 새로운 프로그램을 만들려고 했는데, 기존 우리의 결과물과 연결을 지어야 될까?"We tried to create a new program, but do we need to connect with our existing results?" 그게 아니구나'라는 생각을 하게 됐다.That's not what I thought. 정말 제로베이스에서 다시 시작해서 새로운 프로그램을 만들어야 된다는 것을 명확하게 인지하게 됐다.I realized clearly that I had to start over from zero base and create a new program. 그게 굉장히 좋았다.That was very good. 첫 녹화를 뜨고 느꼈다.I felt it after the first recording. 미션이든 전체 포맷이든 그림이든 다 다르게 가야 했다.Whether it was a mission, a whole format, or a picture, we had to go differently. 피가 되고 살이 됐다고 표현하고 싶다.I want to say that I'm blood and fat. 말로만 하는 이야기가 아니라, 정말 체험으로 느끼고 있다.It's not just a story, but a real experience.
-'불타는 트롯맨'만의 차별점을 소개해달라.- Please tell me what makes "Burning Trotman" different?
▲서혜진 PD: '또 트롯 오디션?'이라는 반응이 있다.▲ Producer Seo Hye-jin: "Another trot audition?" 트로트 오디션이 중요한 게 아니라 '오디션 장르에서 무엇이 더 재밌을까'라는 것에 대한 본질적 고민을 했다.Trot auditions were not important, but I had an essential concern about what would be more fun in the audition genre. 차별점을 만들기 위해 오픈 상금제를 선택했는데 생각보다 재미있게 터졌다.I chose the open prize system to make a difference, but it was more interesting than I thought. 두 번째로는 현장에 오신 관객분들이 패자부활전에서 살아날 참가자를 선택한다.Second, the audience who came to the scene selects a participant who will survive the consolation match. 저희가 생각한 것과 완전히 다른 결과를 가져오더라.It had a completely different result from what we thought. -제작사 크레아 스튜디오 설립 후 가장 힘든 점이 있다면?Q: What's the hardest thing since the production company Crea Studio was established?
▲서혜진 PD: 아직까지 어려움은 없다.▲Producer Seo Hye-jin: There are no difficulties so far. 지금은 저희가 가장 중점을 두고 있는 사업을 하는 것이고, 내년부터 시작되는 새로운 사업들이 좋은 결과를 맞아야 될 것 같다.Now, we are doing the business that we are focusing on the most, and I think the new businesses that start next year should get good results.
-'불타는 트롯맨'도 '미스터트롯2'도 '제2의 임영웅'이라는 수식어로 홍보 중이다.Both "Burning Trotman" and "Mr. Trot 2" are being promoted under the modifier "Second Lim Young-woong." 현실적으로 '제2의 임영웅'이 탄생할 수 있을 것 같은지.In reality, do you think a "second Lim Young-woong" can be born?
▲서혜진 PD: 저희는 확신을 하고 던지는 것이다.▲ Producer Seo Hye-jin: We throw with confidence. 시청자들은 '무슨 임영웅' '임영웅한테 대지도 못해'라고 생각하실 수도 있지만, 아닐 거라고 생각하고 던지는 것이다.Viewers may think, "What kind of Lim Young-woong" and "I can't even touch Lim Young-woong," but they throw it thinking it won't be. 임영웅 씨가 상징적인 이름이 되지 않았나.Didn't Lim Young-woong become a symbolic name? 팬덤 숫자라든지, 어제는 고척돔에서 콘서트도 끝냈다.The number of fans, and yesterday we finished our concert at Gocheok Dome. 트로트 가수가 갈 수 있는 가장 최고의 위치까지 도달한 사람이기 때문에 상징적인 이름으로 표현하는 것이지만, 사실 저희 입장에서는 '제2의 임영웅'이 아니라 '불타는 트롯맨'의 '제1대 스타'가 나와야 된다고 생각한다.It is expressed as a symbolic name because it is a person who has reached the best position for a trot singer to go, but from our point of view, we think the "first star" of the "Burning Trotman" should come out, not the "second Lim Young-woong." 앞서 말한 것처럼 '뉴트롯맨 시대'다.As mentioned earlier, it is the Newtrotman era. 기존 그림과 다른 결의 스타를 만드는 것이 저희 목표이기 때문에 그것에 최선을 다할 예정이다.Our goal is to create a resolution star that is different from the existing picture, so we will do our best to do that.

▲서혜진 PD: 저희가 '미스트롯' 시즌1을 기획할 때 홍진영 씨를 만났다.▲ PD Seo Hye-jin: We met Hong Jin-young when we were planning "Miss Trot" season 1. 당시 홍진영 씨가 '홍디션'을 기획해서 두 번째 시즌을 가려고 할 때였다.At that time, it was when Hong Jin-young planned the "Hong Edition" and was about to go to the second season. 저희가 많이 쫓아다녔다.We chased a lot. 아이디어를 얻으려고 했는데 홍진영 씨가 엄청 바빴다.I tried to get an idea, but Hong Jin-young was very busy. 그렇게 못 만나다가 우연히 이번에 다시 제안을 하게 됐다.I couldn't meet him like that, but I happened to propose again this time. '이 정도로 장르적 확장성을 가지면서 스타성도 강하고, 예능도 잘하는 여자 가수가 많지 않다'라는 생각을 했다.I thought, "There are not many female singers who have this much genre expandability, have strong star quality, and are good at entertainment." 우리 입장에서는 다시 만나기 쉽지 않은 스타라는 생각이 들었다.From our point of view, I thought it was a star that was not easy to meet again. 또 그분이 얼마든지 예능에 복귀할 수 있는 것 아닌가 생각해서 제안을 드렸고, 홍진영 씨도 흔쾌히 응답해줬다.In addition, I thought he could return to the entertainment show as much as he wanted, so I made a suggestion, and Hong Jin-young responded gladly.
