[헤럴드POP=정현태 기자] 그룹 투투, 듀크 출신 故 김지훈이 세상을 떠난 지 9년이 흘렀다.[Herald Pop = Reporter Jung Hyun-tae] It has been nine years since the late Kim Ji-hoon, a former member of the group Tutu and Duke, passed away.
지난 2013년 12월 12일 故 김지훈은 서울 장충동 한 호텔에서 생을 마감했다.On December 12, 2013, the late Kim Ji-hoon died at a hotel in Jangchung-dong, Seoul. 향년 38세.He was 38 years old.
故 김지훈은 지난 1994년 오지훈, 유현재 그리고 객원 멤버로 황혜영을 영입해 혼성그룹 투투를 결성, 데뷔했다.The late Kim Ji-hoon formed and debuted in 1994 by recruiting Oh Ji-hoon, Yoo Hyun-jae, and Hwang Hye-young as guest members. 투투는 '일과 이분의 일'로 큰 인기를 끌었다.Tutu became very popular for its "one-half and one-half work."
투투는 KBS 가요대상, 대한민국 영상음반 대상에서 신인상을 수상했다.Tutu won the Rookie of the Year award at the KBS Song Awards and the Korea Video Album Awards. 또 서울가요대상에서는 랩 댄스 부문 대상, 골든디스크에서는 본상을 받았다.It also won the grand prize in the rap dance category at the Seoul Music Awards and the main prize at the Golden Disc Awards.
이후 故 김지훈은 1999년부터 김석민과 함께 듀크로 활동했다.Since then, the late Kim Ji-hoon has worked as a Duke with Kim Seok-min since 1999.
그런 가운데 故 김지훈은 2009년 마약 투약 혐의로 체포돼 징역 10월에 집행유예 2년을 선고받았다.Meanwhile, the late Kim Ji-hoon was arrested in 2009 on charges of taking drugs and sentenced to 10 months in prison with a two-year probation. 2010년에는 협의 이혼 사실까지 알려졌다.In 2010, it was even known that the divorce was made public.
일련의 사태들로 故 김지훈은 우울증을 앓았고, 결국 극단적인 선택을 했다.The late Kim Ji-hoon suffered from depression due to a series of incidents, and eventually made an extreme choice.
지난 2016년 방송된 JTBC '투유 프로젝트 - 슈가맨'에서는 황혜영이 故 김지훈을 그리워하는 모습이 소개되기도 했다.In JTBC's To You Project - Sugar Man, which aired in 2016, Hwang Hye-young was introduced missing the late Kim Ji-hoon. 당시 황혜영은 "꿈에 나온 故 김지훈 때문에 '슈가맨' 출연을 결심했다"라며 눈물을 훔치기도 했다.At that time, Hwang Hye-young wiped away tears, saying, "I decided to appear in 'Sugarman' because of the late Kim Ji-hoon in my dream."
