“감히 말씀드리자면 헤어나 스타일링 등에 따라 저만큼 많이 바뀌는 배우도 진짜 없을 거예요."I dare say that there is no actor who changes as much as I do depending on his hair and style. 원래 안면인식이 잘 안 되는 배우라는 뜻이죠.”(웃음)It means that I'm an actor who doesn't recognize my face very well." (Laughs)

“외적인 건 다 제 아이디어였어요."Everything outside was my idea. 최혜정이라는 인물의 이미지를 시각적으로 잘 구현하기 위해서 정말 고민을 많이 했거든요.I really pondered a lot to visually realize the image of the character Choi Hye-jung. 제 머리, 의상을 해주시는 원장님, 실장님이 제가 고른 걸 보고 ‘이런 이미지, 이런 의상, 정말 괜찮겠어?’라고 물으셨어요.The hair stylist and the manager who does my hair and costumes saw what I chose and asked, "Is this image, this outfit really okay?" 전 그랬죠. ‘아니, 그런 이미지인 게 아니라 최혜정은 정말 이런 애라니까?’”I was like, "No, that's not the image. Choi Hye-jung is really like this." 촬영 회차가 진행될수록 스태프도 차주영의 선택에 공감했다.As the filming continued, the staff also agreed with Cha Joo-young's choice. 차주영이 온몸으로 만들어내는 최혜정이란 인물.Choi Hye-jung is a character that Cha Joo-young creates with her whole body. 차주영은 “촬영을 하면서 스태프도 납득하더라.Cha Joo-young said, "While filming, the staff was convinced. ‘네가 무슨 말을 했는지 알겠다’는 말을 들었다”고 설명했다."I was told that I know what you said," he explained.

“혜정이라면 심심하게 그런 셔츠 안 입을 것 같더라고요."I don't think Hye-jeong would wear such a shirt for nothing. 그래서 화려한 셔츠를 구해달라고 했어요.So I asked them to get me a fancy shirt. 그렇게 입어야 최혜정이라는 캐릭터가 완성될 것 같더라고요.”I think that's the only way to complete Choi Hye-jung's character."

이렇게 캐릭터에 몰두해서일까.Is it because I'm so absorbed in the character? 1년에 2작품 정도는 꾸준히 해온, 소처럼 일하는 배우지만 차주영은 인간 차주영보다는 늘 캐릭터로 남았다.Cha Joo-young, who has been working like a cow for about two films a year, has always remained a character rather than a human Cha Joo-young. ‘스튜어디스 혜정이’가 실은 ‘치즈인더트랩’에서 도도하던 퀸카 남주연이었다는 것, ‘기름진 멜로’에서 무던한 성격의 성형외과 전문의 석달희였다는 사실이 뒤늦게 SNS 등에서 화제를 모았을 정도다.The fact that "Stewardess Hye-jung" was actually the queen Nam Joo-yeon who was haughty in "Cheese in the Trap" and that she was a plastic surgeon with a heavy personality in "Oily Melo" drew attention late on SNS.
